This is a new course title. I am not sure if the english title is a bit
too serious.
Books about architecture travellogs are popular these days. Yet, there are very few journalists specialized in reporting architectural news. We should train students to be the missionary of architecture, to educate general public about appreciating architecture.
The course can start with a one/two-week-long travel while students collect materials. During the travel, students should be taught how and what to collect, taking necessary notes and photos. After the travel, students are to prepare writing reports and editing an online architecture journal. We may invite authors of popular architecture travel books to give talks. We may also arrange a weekend tour to nearby country during the semester.

- University of Signapore offers a 4-year B.A.(Arch) degree. For the graduates' prospects, the program material says
The B.A.(Arch.) Hons. degree course is a basis for basic education and training either in architecture or in related fields. B.A.(Arch.) Hons. graduates may join architectural firms or architectural departments of a government or statutory body. There are also opportunities in related fields such as interior design, industrial design, industrialized building systems, graphic design, commercial art and architectural journalism. The B.A.(Arch.) Hons. degree does not in itself qualify graduates for registration with the Board of Architects. B.A.(Arch.) Hons. graduates may be considered for admission to the Master of Architecture course or other academic graduate studies. (from http://www.nus.edu.sg/nusbulletin/0304/sde/211a.htm)
